Turn paper archives into searchable digital records
DocuNest scans, OCRs and stores document collections in batches. Built for organisations that need to keep decades of paper retrievable without renting a warehouse for it.

Queue whole folders of scans. Recognition runs on the server, so a single operator can process thousands of pages a day.
PDF/A output
Every document is normalised to PDF/A for long-term preservation, with the source image kept alongside the text layer.
Metadata extraction
Dates, case numbers and sender fields are pulled out automatically and written into the index, so search stays accurate.
Who uses it
Regional courts, municipal archives and a handful of law firms. Most run it on a single server and scan on site; the web UI works from any desk in the building.
The command line tools run on Windows, macOS and Linux. Indexes are plain JSON, so they can be versioned and backed up like any other file.
