Installation
DocuNest runs as a single service with an embedded database. Install the package, then point it at your scan folder.

Importing a collection
Drop scans into the watched folder and DocuNest queues them automatically. Each job produces a PDF/A and an index entry.
docunest import /srv/scans/2026-09-casefiles docunest status --job 18273
Searching
The web UI searches across all indexed collections. The same query works from the command line.
docunest search "lease agreement" --collection municipal --limit 50
